She has been a Registered Nurse for 43 years, receiving her Diploma in nursing from Hall School of Nursing in Gainesville, GA, a Bachelor’s degree from Georgia State University, a Masters in Nursing with a concentration in education from Georgia Baptist College of Nursing of Mercer University, and a Post Masters certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner from the University of South Alabama. Mary is a member of The American College of Cardiology, the American Nurses Association, and the American Heart Association.

The majority of her work experience has been in Cardiac Intensive Care and the Cardiac catheterization lab. After teaching for several years at Georgia Baptist College of Nursing at Mercer University, she returned to the hospital setting to coordinate programs in stroke and cardiac care, leading to her present position at Emory Healthcare.

You can drive, fly or walk…it depends on where you live.

For Friday Morning, It’s casual attire. For Friday night, it’s cocktail attire and blinged out sneakers. Lastly, for the Saturday event, casual clothing.
